Westbury Avenue Baptist Church

Dear Westbury,

At last week's Fellowship Meeting I announced my resignation from the role of Pastor of Westbury Avenue Baptist Church which will mean that my term here will end on October 15th.

Sadly, after 5 years of ministry at Westbury I now believe it's time for me to move on. The chapter of our time together has come to an end, giving way for a new chapter of your story to both begin and continue.

We have celebrated the successes and joys together, we have shared the losses and challenges together. We have achieved new things and yet there is so much more that you will do in the future.

Westbury I wish to thank you all for giving me the opportunity to lead and serve you this past 5 years. It has been both an interesting and challenging ministry as well as being for me a privilege and an honour to serve you.

Saying goodbye is never easy but we say goodbye in Christ knowing whether in this life or the next we will meet again.

As we begin our Journey of separation and goodbyes please know this - that my prayer for Westbury will always be that - 'God continue to bless Westbury and cause His light to shine here always'.
